For soprano Eva Kong, each death scene she portrays on stage makes her feel more alive away from the spotlight.
Eva presents a program of songs from Debussy’s Quatre Chansons de Jeunesse to Korean repertoire, alongside arias from some of the great operas including Roméo et Juliette, and Madama Butterfly. Eva will also bring us the arias of Violetta from La traviata, the role in which she made her recent debut in South Korea.
Eva's recital is the perfect prelude to seeing Eva play the Countess in our production of The Marriage of Figaro in July.
To allow us to share the joy of opera with you safely, we will continue to follow Covid Safe plans for all performances at all venues.
